POINT OPERATING EQUIPMENT - P.O.E.

Direct Track Solutions is a fast-growing company that now have the ability to manufacture and supply point operating equipment (POE) to the likes of Network Rail, London Underground, Irish Rail and various Light Rail companies to name but a few.

Located centrally in the UK, our new manufacturing facility at junction M1 29A is ideally placed to enable us to respond quickly to our client’s requirements no matter where they are in the country.

All of our components are manufactured to customers drawings to the highest standard, by highly skilled and highly experienced staff. To ensure maximum safety, all of our connection rods undergo solid state welding (friction), resistance welding (flash butt) to a railway approved specification - BS EN ISO 15620:2000 (friction weld) BS 6944:1988 (flash butt weld). Our aim is to provide a rapid response service whilst maintaining the highest standards with most of our components having a short lead-time.

With a wealth of knowledge within switches & crossings and POE, of a combined 140+ years, we have the ability, not only to supply to customer drawings, but also design bespoke equipment. Due to the aged design of some equipment currently in use on complex layouts, with limited access and room for improvement, we can also reverse engineer components.
